The Tescan Vega3 operates in high vacuum mode only and is equipped with a heated tungsten filament. Samples must be conductive or have a conductive coating. It has SE (secondary electron), BSE (backscattered electron), and EDAX (Energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy) detectors. Our EDAX Element EDS System has Fixed Working Distance, LN-free Drift Detector system with integrated Peltier cooling, silicon Nitride thin window, Element EDS Analysis Software and TEAM EDS data collection software, including Spectrum Utilities, Smart Quant, Smart Element Mapping, Linescan Acquisition and Software Data Management and reporting.
